Bubble Explosion

I like to pride myself on learning from other's mistakes. I enjoy knowing I skipped certain growing pains as an adult.

One of these was the classic mistake of putting dish soap in a dishwasher. It is supposed to cause massive bubble explosion all over the place.

Or over loading the washing machine to having the same bubble bomb.

I was successful for about 27 years. Then one day I had the bight idea I needed to clean the inside of my disheasher. It's not a crazy idea just different.

I asked New Dude to help with cleaning the spiny water thing while I started to scrub the inside with Mr. Clean and made the inside all super bright and clean.  

Well, because of the cleaning soaps I used in the dishwasher, I ran it empty just to make sure it rinsed all the non dishwasher soap away. 

This lead to the random bubbles slowly leaking out the sides onto the kitchen floor. I walked into a very soapy wet mess. But, seeing as I hate washing floors, I took this opportunity to grab a mop and push the bubbles around until they were gone. And, I had a nice newly cleaned floor.

However, this story is about one of the gifts New Dude and I received at a bridal shower. We received a laundry basket filled with soaps and cleaners. Which, by the way was genius idea. Anyone moving in a house or just living in a house can always use house hold cleaners.

Well, we ran out of dishwasher soap and I went and pulled out a bag of dishwasher pods.

I took one out, threw it in the soap holder and went on with my day.

Well, we also had a set of the laundry pods. I was just tossing one of them in per load. My brother-in-law was like, are you sure you're putting in the right amount? I was like no idea. So I turned the bag around read the directions, found out I should have been using two pods and went on with my day.

Later that day after I had loaded the dishwasher and went to put in the dishwasher pod. I thought about how I had been wrong with the washing machine, I should probably check this pack too.

I turned the bag around......

Wait... that isn't what a dishwasher looks like.

Yup, that's right, I had been putting in laundry soap in my dishwasher.

Good news, it also cleans dishes very well.

Bad news.... I'm and idiot.

Eh, oh well, new lesson learned, new story.
