100 Days of Happiness Days 11-20

At the start of this year one of my good friends post this challenge on her Facebook page. She was also kind enough to specifically dare me and a few of her other friends to do this 100 happy days.

I thought about it, thought about it, and thought about it, and after about a week, I was like I can do this. However, I really don't like posting things on Facebook that much. Sure, I like to tell people about new blog posts but for the most part I mostly post about 2-3 times a week. 100 days in a row is just too much.

So I've turned it into a post series.

Why? Why not? I'm a blogger right?

Outback Parties

I had the pleasure of hosting this one. We use to have a Christmas type party, a Valentines Day Party and one year a Halloween party. In other words about 2 times a year everyone would dress up and just go hang out and talk and chill with each other. There would be food, people, a cash bar, and people not wearing uniforms. They would be the talk a month before and AFTER the party. I think it is one of the reason people were so much nicer to each other. They realized they were people too. Anyway, they were always  a blast and this past one went pretty well that we might be doing it agian.

Tiger Pipe Cleaner

New Dude make this when we had our first craft night. He made it for me to bring to work. I get to look at it's cute face daily and it usually makes me smile and keeps me positive.

Stuffed Animals

Now I know I am "an adult" however, not only do I still snuggle with these guys, especially when New Dude isn't home, but I just love them. They are old, beat up, missing eyes, have holes, all of them are probably a few shades lighter than what they once were, but they are amazing. I think of them and smile. I hug them and smile. They make me happy to the core.

Greenway

Our city has a system of Greenways. (I am borrowing their logo, also the link above sends you to their map.)  They are larger paved paths that go in and around the city. They are fantastic because they offer miles of running,walking, or biking with no worries, or mostly no worries about being hit by cars. Other bikers and people, maybe, but cars not normally. They offer some greenery in the city scape and I really enjoy them. Even though I've done a lot of the same parts before, it is still enjoyable.

Running

This has become one of my ultimate stress relievers. It clears my head, it unburdens my soul, it lets all my worries calm back down. It is good for my body and bad for my knees. It reminds me that I can set goals and accomplish them too, just one step at a time. Running makes me very, very, happy.

Origami Owl

I think it was for my birthday last year when my parents gave me this Origami Owl necklace. I really like it. It makes me happy because it is my first charm item I've ever owned. I've always liked the idea of charm bracelets but never owned one. Even with Pandora doing so well, I was kind of turned off in the idea. However, this is still not as popular and has little charms you can put in there. Anyway, I like it because it is a gift and my sister and New Dude also gave me charms so when I look down I seem them. I see little tokens of love.

Jean Day!

I work in an office setting for my day job. That means business causal for most of the time. Every once in a while we'll have a random Friday, or during foot ball season the game day ability to wear jeans and support the college teams in the area. Well today is also a jean day because it is snow and gross outside and they would prefer you don't break your ankle because you're wearing dress shoes. So even though it's cold outside, I am most happy because I get to wear jeans to work. I love jeans!

My boyfriend keeps me on my toes and always seems to find ways to make me smile. This little guy currently lives in our freezer. I just saw him today and is so cute!

PayDay 

What can I say? Anytime my bank account has an inf-lucks of money makes me happy. Then the weekend comes and bills are paid, but that is okay! It looked really cool for a few hours!

 Cup Cakes!

I was too full to eat it at the party so I red solo cupped them home. I like them because I still get cake but in a more controled size. Plus, who doesn't like cake?
